What makes Cell-Ed courses unique?
- Cell-Ed courses integrate essential skills into every mobile learning micro-lesson to provide a pathway from low literacy to education and job success for adults. Each lesson provides contextualized life, literacy and job skills to help adults navigate daily life.
How are the courses structured?
- Cell-Ed courses take up to 20 hours to complete, and are delivered in short, stackable three-minute micro-lessons, with pre-and post-assessments throughout to measure skill gains. When they sign up, a short assessment places learners in the right course. Learners can begin a course – or tap back into one – at anytime.
Does Cell-Ed align to National Standards?
- Cell-Ed’s mobile learning courses are developed by education and industry experts based on national standards such as CASAS and BEST Plus for language learning.
How does Cell-Ed track progress?
- Cell-Ed’s courses are broken into units each comprised of micro-lessons. Each unit has a short pre- and post-assessment that shows learning gains, and we track right and wrong answers within each lesson. At the end of each course, we have a final assessment to measure learners’ gains before moving on to the next course.
