Advanced SkillBuilder: Math offers learners a chance to enhance reading skills while
sharpening math reasoning. In this course, learners work with numbers found in
visual data, such as charts, graphs, forms, and ads commonly used at workplaces and in daily life.
In each exercise, learners read a text, or interpret and gather numbers from visual
data, determine which math operation to use, then find a solution using addition,
subtraction, multiplication, and/or percents. This self-guided course allows learners to work at their own pace, while also providing audio support from teachers. Upon
Completion of this course, learners will be able to interpret and solve problems using
multiple operations.
